We are especially interested in learning and recording your thoughts and recollections about your feelings, faith and personal experiences during the terrible times of war and the Great Depression. Jerry Jenkins will be the presenter.

Ruth 2: “Sharing the harvest”

Here are some ways to nurture faith at home based on this week’s story. For preschool children, use the “For families” page in the Early Childhood leaflet. (1) Read Ruth 2:8–10, 14–16, 18, 23. Give examples of how Boaz, his workers, Ruth, and Naomi showed kindness. (2) What things are easy for you to share? What do you want to keep for yourself? (3) Tell about a person who takes care of your daily needs.

Did you know? What barley product is known as the national food of Tibet? (Tsampa—flour made from roasted barley)

Prayer for the week: God, thank you that you give us what we need for today. Amen.
