Saturday, April 21, 9 a.m.-12, Coffee and Canvas Ladies Morning Out. Dawn Wilson will help us decorate our "canvas" with a Spring Welcome design. If you were at the last Coffee and Canvas, please bring your board with the snowman on it to paint the back side. Boards are available for ladies who didn’t complete a snowman painting. This event costs $8 and includes a light breakfast, coffee and tea. Sign up at the information center and invite your friends too!
Sunday, April 22, at 5 p. m. is The Annual Peace Scholarship Award Program will be held at the Friends Meeting House. Peter Anderson will be the speaker. Peter is a student at AMBS.
Howard-Miami Heritage Society is meeting April 24, 2 p.m. Stanley Miller will be the featured speaker. All are welcome to attend.
Clear the Clutter day, Saturday April 28, 9 am-2 pm.
*Bring 2 items of furniture/appliances for disposal. Reservations must be made by April 21 with the church office.
*A limited number of pick-up services are available if you cannot transport your items. Reserve now to make sure you are on the list in time!
*A shredder truck will be available from 10 a.m.-noon. Maximum of 3 bags or boxes of documents. These items cannot be picked up due to privacy issues. Clear the Clutter day is offered by the Outreach Board.
On Sunday, April 29, at 5 p.m., the children will be hosting a MCC International Meal Fundraiser. A free will offering will be collected for MCC. Les Gustafson-Zook will share stories about the work of MCC after the meal. Everyone is invited to bring an "international" dish to share. Please sign up at the Information Center.

Pastor Sarah is graduating from seminary! Graduation is Sunday May 6, at 2:30 p.m. at College Mennonite Church in Goshen. On
May 6, we will have worship at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday School at 10:30 a.m.

· Nancy Frey and Bruce Yoder of Mennonite Mission Network ask for prayer for peace in Burkina Faso. They write: “We feel safe, but are aware that periodic violence has become part of life. We try to be prepared for the unexpected.” Pray for the witness of Mennonite churches as they follow the Prince of Peace.
Participating in Kairos at Miami Correctional Facility:
There are meal tickets on the Information Center that can be purchased for $10. A meal ticket helps to provide meals and cover other expenses for the Kairos weekend. Each team member contributes $250 toward the cost of the weekend (25 tickets). When purchasing tickets, write a note of encouragement on the back side, including your FIRST name and age. These tickets, with notes of encouragement, are then given to the offenders at each meal. Meal tickets, along with cash or a check, can be placed in the box provided at the Information Center. Thank you for your support of the Kairos Prison Ministry!
