Church Council has established a designated fund for Urgent Winterization for the Gibson House. People can donate to this fund by writing a check to Howard-Miami and writing Gibson House in the memo line. Some of the needs involve fixing the HVAC system and adding better insulation to heat the home. Any questions can be taken to Terry Kendall.
Children’s Winter Bible School This Friday, January 19, 6-8 p.m. Toddlers (age 1-4) and Elementary (K-5th grade). Children need to be signed up at the Information Center by TODAY so the Children's Ministry Team will know how much food to prepare for supper. Future Winter Bible School dates are February 16, and March 9, from 6-8 p.m.
Colby Boyce just had a new baby a couple of weeks ago and this past Friday, she had her gallbladder removed. If you can take Colby and her family a meal either this week or next, sign up at the Information Center in the foyer.
The Women’s Council is updating their list of volunteers for visitation, meals, baked goods and childcare. Even if you were on the previous list, they are asking that you please sign up again and check the areas where you are willing to serve. The sign up list is on the Information Center in the foyer. Thank you!
The Church Directory is being updated. Any updates for phone, address or new photos or even new entries need to be submitted to the Church office by January 28 if not already submitted.
Ladies, mark your calendars for “Hearts and Hands,” a service project day on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will be sewing fidget blankets and making no-sew fleece blankets. A light lunch will be provided. More details will be in the February newsletter. Contact a member of the Women’s Ministry Council if you have any questions.
Do you have a story to tell to give God credit for a moment in your past week? We would love to have you praise God by sharing your story during the “storytelling” portion of our service. Please tell Ben or Sarah if you have a story to share.

· Edna (Jerry) Mast is recovering at home from open heart surgery. Jerry now resides at Waterford Place in Kokomo.
· Sadona Lowe who continues to have trouble with her Knee.
Prayers for Missionaries:
· Pray for Justin & Hannah Mast as they serve in Slovenia with CRU.
· Pray for Jon & Lindsay Birkey as they serve in Arizona with World Gospel Mission.
Prayers for Community and Beyond:
· Pray that the Lord would continue to work in in the Buddy Bags program at Maconaquah schools.
· Thursday is a special day of prayer for our congregation – pray for our pastors and each other.
